About me

My name is Michał Masłowski and I am a student of computer science from Poland.

This blog is mostly about free software which I use and about some programs which I write (or plan to write, since the problems making them useful are also interesting).

I use GNU/Linux, GNU Emacs and LaTeX. I try to use only free software for mainly ethical reasons (although it is also more useful). The GNU/Linux distributions which I’m currently using are Trisquel on my AMD64 computer and gNewSense on my Lemote YeeLoong laptop.

The 'ł' in my name is a Polish letter pronounced as /w/ (like in English 'word'). In TeX it is written as \l, in Texinfo as @l, in Unicode it is U+0142, in XML and HTML ł may be used.
